Plastic Mailboxes

Residential Mailboxes

Every home needs a place to receive mail.  For some, a post office box is the best option.  But, for many, a residential mailbox is what will best serve their needs.  These boxes do not have to look industrial to be durable.  There are many styles available to choose from that are not only practical but also decorative.

Residential mailboxes can be installed onto the home itself or on a post out by the street.  They are made of materials that can withstand all weather conditions so that they will last you for many, many years to come.

Plastic Mailboxes

Plastic mailboxes are practically indestructible.  They are usually made with double wall plastic construction and have a rear door for easy retrieval of your mail without going out onto the street.  This is a great safety feature and will keep both adults and children alike from having to wander among the traffic.

Technically, these mailboxes are made of plastic that does not rust and are generally available in a green or tan color.  They may have a built in newspaper compartment and are easy to install.  Your plastic mailbox purchase can include a 4 x 4 plastic mailbox post and the box slips right over it.  Or you may have an existing post to use. Some deluxe varieties have a removable planter box.
